Sometimes in the evening I have eye trouble. Trouble is the code word I use for problems I have as a result of medication or what have you. Anyway, my eyes kind of lock up to the right and the ceiling. It’s very embarrassing. Thankfully, it’s limited, but it always makes me nervous. It’s usually triggered by stress. Stress at work, stress at other places.
The Lord has helped me deal with it, but it’s not easy. I pleaded with God to take it away from me, but he hasn’t. At least he is with me. You know, Paul had a thorn in the flesh, although I’m sure his was nothing like this, he wrestled with it, and pleaded with God three times that it be taken from him, but God reminded him of a scripture.
“My grace is sufficient for you, and my power is made perfect in weakness”
When we are weak, God is strong, and God provides and loves us. I hope this has encouraged you a bit today. Whatever you are going through, God’s got you, and of course, you are not alone. There are many people who struggle/have struggled with their crosses or pain or sorrow. They got through it, and so will you. Persevere!
