Okay, so I want to use my writing and polish it, maybe even make money off it. Right now it’s not a big deal, but maybe one day I could be a freelance writer full-time (or get picked p by a company to work on their books). In any case, I found a lot of markets that pay for flash fiction. The only thing I really need to do is look at what they publish, submission guidelines, and lengthen my stories, or create new stories of the appropriate length.
It’s easy to say, ”I’m a writer,’ or “I’m an artist,” It’s hard to point to things you’ve published, unless of course, it’s a blog like this one. Many cartoonists make web-comics whose content is free. I did that for three years. I think now I want people to pay for my content, provided its quality work. With that in mind, Lord willing, I want to polish my work until I am confident it’s worth paying to read. You will note that the Makai Mart Annual 2017 pdf is for sale. However, I haven't made nearly as many comics this year (life happened). Maybe I can have an annual 2019, or else go from August to August or something.
In any case, do please keep reading.
Desires for the future)
1) podcast, maybe podcast of playing tabletops (but probably not D&D)
2) guest blogger (probably much further into the future
3) Finish three comics, the scripts of which are already written
4) Work on tabletop material
5) And this one should be first: submit flash fiction to magazines for money
