Dear Father,
Thank you for this day. Not a lot is going on. I read John 9 today about the blind man to whom Jesus restored sight. No one sinned that the man was born blind, and this is an important passage of scripture. His parents didn’t mess up and cause him to be blind. He didn’t somehow commit a sin in this or a previous life that caused him to be blind.
He was blind so that God could move in his life, and give him a testimony to Jesus’ goodness, and righteousness, and the fact that Jesus is the Messiah (Anointed One). His people didn’t understand, the Pharisees didn’t get it. They couldn’t deny his testimony though. It’s the same with us. People can cast doubt on the bible, on Christians, the church, but they can’t argue with what God has done in your life.
You have a story friend, and when someone asks you about Jesus, you share what Jesus has done in your life, and you offer them the gospel,”Believe on the Name of the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved,”
Call on Jesus, and you will be saved, both from a meaningless, empty life here, and eternal separation from God in the next.
