Dear Father and Reframed

Dear Father,

Thank you for this day. Not a lot is going on. The trip the other day really reframed the month. I’m not dreading the next couple days. Granted, it wasn’t all good, but still..

I have some errands and chores to do. I want to get as much done because M. and I have to prep for winter today. What verse to share?

Jeremiah 29:11

“I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.”

We may derail the train, or side track God’s plan for us, but he adapts our circumstances if we are willing, to bring those plans to fruition. This verse is written while Jeremiah is at the potter’s house. God likens Israel and our lives like a potter’s vessel. If something goes awry, the potter simply reshapes the pot. How much more easily can God craft circumstances to bring about His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Hope that encourages you today. God wants what’s best for you, but it starts with a relationship with Jesus.
