Jesus doesn't fit your boundaries and may not agree with everything you do and believe. He may not have taught against certain things specifically, but you have to think about the context of being a first century orthodox Jew. Matthew 19:4-5 . There are other places in the New and Old Testament that are part of God's Word and are just as valid today. Jesus often quoted the Old Testament, and said that no part of the Law would pass away until all things are fulfilled.
I never thought that Genesis 1:27 and 2:24 would be so controversial.
You'll say,"Well, we eat pork and shellfish," but those are dietary laws. You'll say," We don't sacrifice animals for religious purposes" Those were ceremonial laws. The moral laws still stand. You can do what you like and believe what you like, but everyone reaps what they sow. The bible continues to be the most controversial book, the most enduring in spite of enemies trying to get rid of it. It’s also the Word of God, and we can either build our lives on it and live, or build our lives on lies, and suffer the consequences.
