Dear Father,
Thank you for this day. Not a lot is going on. Today is just getting started. I want to try and get together with M. and T., maybe start a tabletop adventure. I should like to play the Sentinels of the Multiverse tabletop, but Mutants and Masterminds is what I know. I think Sentinels doesn’t come out until next year. I heard a rumor that BESM 4th ed. is coming out. I wonder if it will be simplified or what.
I’m using a simple adventure, really an encounter, that will hopefully work for my players. God, please help me to have a Christian tabletop group. Maybe then I won’t offend Your Spirit. Nevertheless, not what I will but what You will.
It’s the first day of July. In a few weeks I will be 34. I guess I always imagined being where I wanted to be in my career. I’m still a cashier, and while I enjoy it, I’m beginning to wonder if my day job is supposed to be cashier. I still use my talents to make things, glory be to God, but I’m a really good cashier. I don’t want to be a cashier for the rest of my life, but maybe it’s not up to me. God is sovereign, and I’ll be at A.’s as long as He wants me to be.
