Dear Father,
Thank you for this day. Not a lot is going on. I need to let the puppies out. J. is crying. I slept a lot better last night. Some of my bones still ache, but I don’t have chills. Hopefully I’m getting better. I didn’t talk to E. last night. I just didn’t feel well. I need to try and talk to her earlier in the evening, as sleep will be important in fighting this cold or whatever it is. I’d better go, the pups need me.
((Okay, they’re out in the house. Not exactly what I wanted, but)) I don’t know how I contracted this. With fever and chills I’m thinking it’s the flu. However, for the flu, it’s pretty mild. No runny nose, no congestion. Last night I put on thermals and tried to get as warm as I could. I think it helped. Got a lot to do today. Got to go to S’,.s and get milk. Gotta pay the water bill. I want to clean up some stuff, too.
