Just writing a brief post to talk to you about a few things related to prayer. It’s much easier this way than trying to type a lot in fb. So, a few things.
It’s important to attend a church if you are able. (Hewbrews 10:25). The Church is the body if Christ, so forgive me a little if I refer to us as cells in that body. You know that if you took a blood cell, any cell, and separated it from the rest of the body, it would die in a petri dish or wherever. When we assemble together, we are more like a tissue, that works together, lives together, relies on each cell.
Please, go to church when you can. You don’t have to be there at every prayer meeting, every time the door opens, but you should plan on attending every week, if at all possible.
Next, read a chapter of the bible a day (and that’s just to start). You might want to read a smaller book (Like Ruth or Ezra), but I would probably follow this or a similar list.

2) Gospel of Mark
3) Gospel of Matthew
4) Gospel of Luke
5) Acts
6) New Testament letters
7) Genesis Through Numbers
Try to spend at least 30 minutes in quiet time by yourself with God. Preferably in a small room, like your bedroom or study or something. When you sin, confess and repent. Your relationship with Jesus and God is the most important thing in your life. Live that way, for the time for Jesus to return is short.
