Testimony

So,,

in 2014 God rescued me from death. I was very sick, and so dehydrated that I was moved to another hospital, where I received 9 IV bags of fluids. After the healing, I feel like I could’ve given God the glory more. Well, God spared me, and thanks to him and a good doctor and some medicine, I not only function, but I’m able to hold down a job. I was able to finish college (without any loans, praise God, and thanks to those who helped me along).

I know God is getting some glory for all this, but I want to use my life in service to Him and my neighbors. Anyway, I know of people who don’t function as well, as a result of not taking their meds, or not having access to them, to giving up to their compulsions (specifically gaming). So, God’s been very gracious.

As for gaming. I’m not going to vilify it, or shame anyone. What I will say is that it takes your more precious resource (time), and also money, and gives you skill at said games in exchange. It’s a rather uneven exchange. Having said that, if you are functional, and don’t let it become more important than real life, then that’s your choice.

I still think about videogames every once in a while, but I know it’s not for me at this point. That’s my choice, my life, and I just don’t want to let it back in.

More later,
