Morning of Jan 14th

Dear XTC,

Thank you for this day. Not a lot is going on. Doing my morning blog, lw, and praying it’s a good day (it usually is). I have so much to be grateful for. Food, clothes, medicine, everything I need. I can’t put into words how good you are to me Lord, and I thank you. So we’ve got a bit of chores. Might see M. and T. today. J. is meeting on the 22nd, so there’s that. I’m worried about a friend not sleeping well. Maybe he’s worried a bout something? Not sure, but would like to help if I could.

I guess that’s really all that’s on my mind right now. Maybe after I wake up a little bit the words will flow. Then again, not having words because things are good isn’t a bad thing. Not having words because of grief would be bad, but even grief can lead to wisdom.

I was reading in Proverbs Ch. 14, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it is death,”

and thinking about that a bit. It’s kind of like in Judges, where it says,” Everyone did what was right in their own eyes”

A lot of times we may think things are good and they are really bad, or vice versa. Only God can direct our paths to a good end, to work everything “according to good” (Romans 8:28)

You’ve been bringing things to mind more and more in Your Word, and I appreciate that. You enabled me to read four chapters of a book in the bible. It was Song of Songs. It’s just so romantic, and sweet, and reminds us of the beauty of a monogamous, exclusive, biblical relationship. It’s a thing of beauty.

Thank you Lord
