Dear Father,
Thank you for this day. So, I packed up the power cord, HDMI, controller, and headset for the PS4. I played it for three hours yesterday, and trying to go cold turkey today. Well, only played it for a couple of days, and think the worst of the withdrawal is over (mild since I hadn’t played it for long).
I pray I don’t go back, ever. But sometimes I really want to play it.
So, I’m on my computer. Watching the pups, wondering if the contractor is going to come out today. I have so much to do that I can’t do when he’s here. Mind you, I’m grateful for his help. I’ll just be glad when I can come and go as I need to again.
The verse I would like to share with you today is Hebrews 12:1,2
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

It’s pretty encouraging right? We have so many believers that have gone before us, and if they can run the race well, so can we.
