Dear Father,
Thank you for this day. A week ago I got a bill for a reprocessing claim for a service in 2014. Then this week I got another one, the total if which is a little over $150.00 So I called my insurance company. The lady couldn’t find anything like that in her records, and although she was very sweet, put me on hold too long.
My insurance has a grievance/appeals things you can do with claims ,and since the claim is for something that was originally billed in 2014, and due to financial hardship, I’m going to appeal it, and see if they will take it off. Who knows, next month’s bill might be for another $150.00 . I am still struggling to pay this one, and not quite sure if there’s a limitation on the date of such a bill, the services being received five years ago, and now reprocessed.
